		Michigan's Oil and Gas Debate Legislature Passes Six Energy Reform Bills12 More Are Pending If the pending bills are not sent to the Governor's office for his signature by the end of the year they will have to be reintroduced next year. That means they have to be assigned to a committee, re-evaluated by a new set of legislators, and voted on all over again -- essentially starting from ground zero. There's still time to get these bills through! The Legislature is expected to meet for a few weeks after the November 3rd election. To make passage of the pending bills a priority, citizens need to show their elected officials they want action.
